Job descriptionOversee backroom operations by assigning tasks and coordinating daily workflows Ensure a clean, safe, and organized donation processing area Provide support with item pricing checks and final quality assessments Maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the workspace Accept or reject furniture donations as appropriate, per store guidelines Offer excellent service to all donors and community members Participate in interviews and hiring decisions for backroom staff Communicate staffing needs to HR and support onboarding / training of new hires Coordinate with leadership and front-end supervisors to align on daily operations and needs Assist with truck logistics and high-volume coordination as needed High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of supervisory or management experience required Thrift store or retail experience strongly preferred Strong leadership and team-building skills Effective multitasking, organization, and delegation abilities Clear and professional communication Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Efficiency-minded with strong attention to detail Mission-driven mindset with compassion, respect, and kindness Ability to stand and move throughout shift Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs Flexible and adaptable across tasks and roles 18420 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133 Part-Time (20 - 30 hrs / wk) Full-Time (32+ hrs / wk) Raise after 90-day introductory period (up to $21 / hr) Additional raise opportunity at 6 months and annually Comprehensive dental, vision, and health insurance – fully covered by Bella’s Voice Generous paid time off (PTO) 20% employee discount at Bella’s Voice stores

At Bella's Voice , we’re more than just a thrift store – we’re a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting animal welfare through every item sold. As a Back Room Supervisor , you’ll lead our donation and production operations to ensure an efficient, organized, and mission-driven environment. This blended role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on setting while also stepping into a leadership position that shapes team development and store success.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, stepping in to fulfill tasks as needed
- Establish clear expectations, provide training and feedback, and support staff development opportunities
- Address and resolve team performance issues and workplace challenges effectively
- Oversee breaks, lunches, and shift transitions to maintain a seamless workflow
- Conduct performance evaluations and administer disciplinary actions or rewards as necessary
