Position Overview : As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will utilize your expertise to support the social, emotional, and academic success of students in a virtual learning environment.

You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and promote positive outcomes.

This is a 1099 contracting position, offering flexibility and autonomy while making a difference in the lives of students.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' academic, behavioral, and emotional functioning.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide virtual counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
• Participate in virtual meetings and consultations with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided.

Qualifications :

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid North Carolinalicense or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with technology and comfortable using virtual platforms for service delivery.
• Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
