This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Description :

Apheresis Registered Nurse - Full Time

Position Details

Full-time position (40 hours per week)

Monday through Friday schedule

Five 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform blood component procedures such as cell collections and plasma exchanges

Provide care for both ambulatory and inpatients

Collaborate with various healthcare team members throughout the hospital

Independently coordinate patient care

Work within a small care team

Assume charge nurse role responsibilities

Actively participate in unit / service activities

Support co-workers and assess unit needs

Required Qualifications

NY RN License

BLS certification from AHA

Telemetry experience

1 year of Apheresis experience

1 year of inpatient care experience

Preferred Experience

Experience with Optia machines

Experience with Cellex machines

Essential Attributes

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Flexibility and adaptability

Excellent organizational abilities

Excellent IV skills
