The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing IT projects within Client’s Legal and OEC divisions to meet strategic organizational goals.
What You’ll Work On
Plan IT Projects :
- Partner with business and IT leaders to review business cases, use cases and prioritization to create roadmaps aligned to strategic goals and roadmaps.
- Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables.
Project Delivery :
Ensure Legal and OEC applications are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.Develop and execute a work plan to ensure all project activities are performed according to an approved schedule.Establish frameworks to track milestones, goals and objectives, communicate progress and proactively identify issues.Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects, working with division or IT management and sponsors to gain agreement for resolution.Advise on change management practices and track communication and training timing in line with other project milestones.Ensure and measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to the plan and budget.Manage external delivery partners and vendors to ensure project scope, objectives, and milestones are met.Develop and maintain a tracking and remediation process for all identified issues or blockers to successful project delivery.Measure project financials to ensure the project is progressing as compared to the original plan and budget.Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Management.Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.Position Accountability / Scope
Lead project management functions for 3-5 Legal and OEC projects annuallyProvide timely stakeholder feedback to facilitate program decisions and ensure the project meets its deliverables and timelines.No direct budget accountability, but oversees projects up to $5MM.Manages projects at the department or division levelRequired Qualifications / Experience
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related discipline.
Minimum Experience :
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development; preferred experience in delivering IT solutions in a corporate environment.Experience or familiarity with technologies and best practices in areas not limited to : Privacy, Compliance, Legal, website development.Excellent track record in delivering cross-functional programsStrong leadership skillsKnowledge of software development practices and toolsKnowledge of quality processes.Experience working in a matrix global organization where success requires broad orchestration of resources and servicesExperience working in an FDA-regulated business (e.g., validated software related to medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences products) is preferred.MISC :
