Position Overview :

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer and Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will program and operate a HAAS VF2 and TL-1 , manage the machine shop’s organization and safety, operate an OMAX waterjet , and train others on shop equipment. Additionally, you will machine small-run parts and custom fixtures essential for our testing laboratory.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in CNC programming and machining to contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities :

• CNC Programming and Operation : Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, specifically the HAAS VF2 and TL-1.
• Waterjet Operation : Operate and maintain the OMAX waterjet to ensure optimal performance.
• Shop Organization : Maintain a clean, organized, and safe machine shop environment.
• Team Training : Train team members on the proper use of CNC machines and shop equipment.
• Machining : Machine small-run parts and custom fixtures to support testing operations.
• Quality Control : Ensure all machined parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the engineering team to enhance and optimize machining processes.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of machining operations and equipment maintenance activities.
