As an Access Control Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. Pay Rate : $14.53 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals in accordance with location policies and procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel, casino, racetrack, and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Assist with the identification and reporting of suspicious persons, activities, or items within the location.

Maintain detailed records and logs of access control activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for guests and visitors.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
