Patient Care Tech (PCT) Opportunity
A Patient Care Tech (PCT) at ProMedica plays a vital role in the health and safety of our patients every day. From caring for patients to performing clerical services, a PCT helps all members of the ProMedica health care team while complying with standards, procedures and policies. A PCT is a genuine ambassador for ProMedica as they interact with patients, visitors and co-workers. The PCT assists the patient care team with exams, procedures, obtaining patient data and other processes related to direct patient care. The PCT also ensures an appropriate stock of supplies and equipment is available and functioning properly. In this role, you will perform tasks related to scheduling procedures, coordinating admission as well as discharge and transfer processes. PCTs answer phones, take messages and direct calls. You will also pick up and deliver specimens, documents and other items to contribute to operational efficiency.
