About The Position

Position Description

• Provide advanced neonatal care in collaboration with Neonatologists across three Level III–IV NICUs (with affiliated high-risk delivery services).
• Expanding services to six Level II Special Care Nurseries in the Phoenix area, in addition to two Level IIIa and two Level II nurseries across Arizona.
• Responsibilities include :
• Attending high-risk deliveries (shared with Neonatologists).
• Providing care for all infants in the NICU.
• Evening shift coverage in Level III–IV NICUs alongside Neonatologists.
• 24 / 7 in-house coverage for Level II nurseries, with daily Neonatologist rounds and in-person support for emergencies.
• Flexible scheduling with a mix of 12- and 24-hour shifts to suit provider and team needs.
• No transport duties.

Job Requirements

Requirements

✅ Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP only – cannot accept FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications)

✅ Arizona state license (or ability to obtain) – Required

✅ DEA license (must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions) – Required

✅ Minimum 2+ years of NNP experience – Highly Preferred
