As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial health of our organization. From analyzing statements and building financial models to supporting cross-functional teams with insights and recommendations, this is a hands-on role where your analytical and problem-solving skills will have a direct impact on our success.
This position is hybrid, with 23 days per week in our Oakland office, and reports to the Director of FP&A.
What You'll Do
- Support month-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Develop and refine monthly and quarterly financial analysis frameworks.
- Review and analyze financial metrics, statements, and reports to identify key drivers of performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
- Build financial models and projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Inspect accounting systems for efficiency and compliance with best practices.
- Recommend improvements to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and improve profitability.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Assess financial risks and provide best-practice recommendations.
- Conduct ad-hoc research and analysis as needed.
- Contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS).
What We're Looking For
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting. Master's, MBA, or CPA a plus.Experience : 13 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting (manufacturing industry experience a plus).Skills & Traits :Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to clearly present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication.Hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable.Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Suite; NetSuite, Odoo, or data analytics tools a plus.Japanese language proficiency strongly preferred.Why Join Us
