About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts Jan 5, 2026, and runs for 120 days with a Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm schedule. The provider will support both inpatient wound care and acute rehab, as well as outpatient family practice cases and procedures, offering vital coverage for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide inpatient wound care and support acute rehabilitation patients, referring severe cases to the ER as needed

Manage outpatient basic family practice cases including cough, cold, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and musculoskeletal complaints

Perform common procedures such as suturing, casting, and incision and drainage

Deliver high-quality patient care across a broad spectrum of routine medical needs

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care

Additional Information

Minimum 3 years of Family Practice experience required

Must hold current licensure and board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for California
