Operations Support Analyst
The Operations Support Analyst will evaluate and enhance business performance through analyzing performance issues, business application systems and or processes and provide solutions. This position will create and deliver reports and presentations and provide support during the financial review processes. Compile and report on a variety of KPI reports. The Operations Support Analyst will interface with internal and external partners and will support the site by enhancing, ensuring, and validating customer compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist managers in creating a more productive, cost-effective, and profitable business unit(s).
- Serve as project lead for all operational functions and or assists in projects as needed.
- Support all functions / managers in identifying operational efficiencies
- Set KPI reports up and reporting up for locations within area.
- Prepares customer KPI scorecard information for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Perform statistical analysis, provide reporting and reporting tools, presentations and work with manager to determine most cost effective solutions and aid in the implementation.
- Ensure business SOPs, work instructions, and other training materials are kept current.
- Identify, recommend, and assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the development an implementation of solutions for new and existing customers
- Proactively work with the business and customers to solve problems and improve processes.
- Produces various weekly and monthly reports for Senior Director and / or management team.
- Analyze business reports and creates metrics within distribution area.

Qualifications
At least 3+ years experience in distribution / logistics and at least 3+ years business process / systems analysis experience.Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management and or Logistics an asset or equivalentBroad and detailed knowledge of the business processes used in a warehouse environmentWarehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience (Manhattan WMOS preferred)Basic understanding of SQL preferredExperience in Maves 3PL business software helpfulAbility to work collaboratively and seamlessly as part of a cross functional teamResults and detail oriented with excellent analytical and decision making abilityProcess driven with the ability to recommend and implement changes to improve processes and increase efficiencyUnderstanding disciplines : customer service, receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, inventory management, etc.Proficient in MS Office-need to be an expert in Excel.Strong analysis and decision making capabilityStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to present information in a formal setting.Must be proactive and able to work independently.Ability to travel within the GTA and across Canada, up to 20%Ability and availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer.We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $80,000-$85,000.00. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 5%.
