Position Summary

As a Strategic Account Executive (SAE) - SrMgr, you will serve as the liaison leader supporting a PBM and their clients. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with Executive Leadership both internally and externally. As a seasoned healthcare sales professional, you will use your years of expertise to grow our business through support of new business, renewals and up-selling of existing clients. You will accomplish this through :

  • Being the quarterback of the strategic account team (including account management, clinical, regulatory, and operations) and have ownership for client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Being the client liaison for contractual requirements.
  • Building client relationships with key client stakeholders to help innovate solutions.
  • Influencing client opportunities through utilizing your consultative selling skills by recommending solutions to meet key client needs.
  • Developing and delivering quarterly business reviews to client unique to their needs.
  • Providing best in class service by ensuring high quality consulting and services.
  • Supporting internal business teams with client requests and escalations.
  • Developing quarterly Medicare strategic business plans aligned to client goals and PBM strategic imperatives.
  • Partnering with the client to develop and execute their annual Medicare bid strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with overall Medicare business objectives for their downstream business.

Your success as a Strategic Account Executive will be driven by your ability to help the client grow while achieving best in class service. You will function as a leader for the account team and your ability to influence others to deliver results for your client will also be a key factor in your success. Your understanding of the PBM and managed care environment as well as keeping up to date on market trends will enable you to position programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers. The contributions you will make as a Strategic Account Executive will position both our client and CVS Health for long term growth in the competitive PBM marketplace.

We are looking for someone with a "trail blazing" personality - Our division requires a thoughtful account executive that can think strategically and creatively, while leverage their existing knowledge to drive the desired outcome. Our ideal candidate would have a demonstrated history of delivering results through managing large, complex clients. This position can be remotely based or in a CVS Corporate Hub. You must have ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Travel may require, but is not limited to, flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of cumulative Account Management or equivalent client-facing experience in healthcare or the PBM industry.
  • Experience leading cross functional sales opportunities that touch various departments from concept to completion.
  • Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
  • You must have ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicare / EGWP experience preferred
  • Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is : $75,400.00 - $165,954.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
