Boulder Surveillance Manager

Summary

Responsible for the strategic and day to day operations of the Surveillance department. Oversees the monitoring of unusual and illegal activities throughout the property and reports such activity as required. Completes and conducts ongoing training regarding all casino table games, slots, internal theft, fraud awareness programs, Nevada gaming regulations, minimum internal controls, case file management and surveillance standard operating procedures.

Essential Functions

• Hires, promotes, trains, disciplines, schedules, directs, terminates, measure performance and develops surveillance staff
• Prepare and review reports and documents, and distribute them to the proper recipients.
• Responsible for preparing and following department's financial budget and business plan
• Utilizes approved and necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal and unusual activities occurring in all gaming areas, non-gaming areas and back of the house
• Reports all illegal and unusual activities to the appropriate authorities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
• Assist department heads with special projects, as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
