What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies relevant to the retail environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter undesirable activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.

Observe and report any unusual activities, property damage, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entry and exit points as directed by site protocols.

Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, staff, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and in a timely manner as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.

A valid guard card or security-related license is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control systems and / or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
