The US Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and executing the commercial strategy for Motus' Fiber product line across North America and global markets. This strategic leader will oversee customer relationships, sales forecasting, pricing strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure business growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and an ability to drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the Fiber product line to achieve revenue and margin goalsIdentify and capitalize on growth opportunities with existing customers and new marketsCustomer Management
Serve as the senior point of contact for key OEM and Tier 1 customer accountsLead contract negotiations, quoting activity, and commercial discussionsMaintain long-term customer relationships by delivering superior service and anticipating needsSales Operations
Manage forecasting, pipeline development, pricing, and market intelligenceMonitor industry trends and customer requirements to inform strategic decisionsCollaborate with program management, engineering, finance, and operations to ensure flawless executionTeam Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales teamSet clear goals and performance expectations. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to align customer requirements with product capabilitiesPartner with supply chain and operations to ensure supply continuity, capacity planning, and profitabilityREQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)Experience working with global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers10+ years of progressive sales experience in automotive or fiber / nonwoven materialsBackground in acoustic or thermal fiber products for automotive interiors or related applicationsProven track record of building strong customer relationships and delivering commercial growthDeep understanding of the automotive supply chain and commercial quoting processes (RFQ through SOP)Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrix environmentWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 50%)Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
