About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Physician Assistant to join a well-established and patient-centered dermatology practice in Port St. Lucie, Florida . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with hands-on dermatology experience to work alongside experienced dermatologists and deliver high-quality care to a growing patient community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as biopsies and laboratory studies.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing dermatologic procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, etc.).
- Educate patients on skincare, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate closely with dermatologists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
- Participate in continuing education and remain current on dermatology best practices.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (required).Current and active Florida PA license (or ability to obtain).Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).Minimum 2 years of clinical dermatology experience (experience as a medical assistant or during PA school rotations does not qualify).Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in EMR documentation and patient management systems.Schedule & Work Environment
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PMNo weekends or on-call dutiesPatient volume : 30–35 patients per daySetting : Outpatient, in-person clinicCompensation & Benefits
