Opportunity Highlights

Schedule : Alternating blocks of 7 12-hour shifts - 7 on / 7 off

Job Setting : Inpatient day shifts and remote night call shifts

7 days of Neuro hospitalist duties (Inpatient Consult) or 7 days Primary Stroke Service Attending scheduled in blocks

Call Requirements : While on the Stroke Service, the Neuro Hospitalist will be on-call. Daytime coverage includes In-house Acute Stroke Code management.

Overnight, there will be Telestroke coverage. The frequency of overnight call may vary, possibly ranging from 1 to 3 nights during the 10-day block.

Lumbar Puncture is a required procedure.

Telemedicine may be scheduled to assist facilities on neighboring islands.

Credentialing : Typically 3 months Minimum Requirements for Consideration

Board Certification required - Neurology
