HR Generalist

We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team to support the Life Sciences Vertical market. The role of the HR Generalist (HRG) is to provide consultative, project-based and hands-on support to Account Leadership and team members supporting multiple clients within C&W Services. The HRG will be the first point of contact for employee matters and will regularly liaise with Corporate Centers of Excellence (COE) to deliver best in class employee experiences. As directed, HR Generalist will partner with operational leaders and HR Leadership on key talent and retention initiatives and projects relative to integration, change management and overall HR best practices, and will report to the HR Director.

Responsibilities :

• Act as a point of contact for assigned region
• Partner with People Partner and Director of People Partnering in the execution and delivery of value-added HR services, including but not limited to strategic talent management (talent reviews, development, and succession planning), performance management, DEI, compensation planning, and project management, and overall employee engagement.
• Work closely with business, HR leaders, and COE partners to build or integrate existing tools for leadership development and management training for key talent segments.
• Build strong relationships with managers and employees at all levels - to provide effective HR guidance and coaching.
• Where applicable, partner with Talent Acquisition to develop new sources to identify and proactively build a warm bench of talent. Participate in select interviews to assess internal and external candidates for key roles.
• Collaborate with HR leadership, compensation team and on key compensation initiatives such as benchmarking, title mapping, job grading and reviewing compensation programs.
• Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
• Work with the broader C&W Services HR team on key priorities and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to : talent management, talent acquisition, compensation, DEI inclusion, governance and policy, change management, performance management, HRIS, and acquisition integration.
• Proactively anticipate opportunities or issues and develop innovative solutions to address the opportunities to drive more effective, efficient, or productive behaviors within the business operations or the HR processes.
• Provide counsel for managers and supervisors on employee or labor relations issues including discipline, policy interpretation, harassment and discrimination, HR compliance, background checks, FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, Wage and Hour Law, I-9 compliance as well as other matters.
• May have to conduct on-site internal investigations (predominantly intake) involving employment incidents, and document accurately on internal platforms. and prepare comprehensive investigation reports with recommended findings.
• Support other HR-related activities as required, including exit interviews, manager training, or any in performance management, positive employee relations, and other personnelC&W Services and Cushman and Wakefield training requirements.
