Title : Assistant Field Manager

Location : Field - Raleigh, NC Area

Summary : ODC Construction is seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Field Manager to support the daily operations of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist the Field Manager in coordinating activities, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Reports to : Field Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Field Manager in overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and crew members to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
• Monitor daily operations on-site, including labor allocation, equipment usage, and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections of the worksite to ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with the Field Manager regarding project progress, issues, and any necessary adjustments to schedules or resources.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and change orders.
• Support the Field Manager in conducting safety meetings and training sessions for crew members to promote a culture of safety on-site.
• Help manage site logistics, including traffic flow, site access, and coordination of deliveries.
• Foster positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on site conditions and progress to ensure alignment with project goals.
