Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach position at Cerro Coso Community College, located in Ridgecrest, CA. The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and conducting practice sessions, developing game strategies, and supporting the overall development of players on and off the pitch. Additional responsibilities include scouting and recruiting potential student-athletes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

• Soccer Coaching experience
• Strong Communication skills
• High Moral values / character
• Experience in Education a plus
• Ability to develop and implement training programs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to the academic success and personal development of student-athletes
• Relevant certifications in coaching and first aid are a plus
• Previous experience in a collegiate athletic environment is beneficial
