• Embedding experience.
• Microtomy experience
• Cut 20 to 30 blocks / hour, Embed 20 to 30 / hour Job Description :
• The main function of a Histotechnologist is to perform complex medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Responsibilities :
• Review laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results.
• Supervise clinical studies and other research projects.
• Instruct staff to operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, and computer-controlled analysers.
• Develop, standardize, evaluate, and modify procedures, techniques and tests used in the analysis of specimens and in medical laboratory experiments.
• Establish and monitor quality assurance programs and activities to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
• Supervise, train, and direct lab assistants, medical and clinical laboratory technicians and technologists, and other medical laboratory workers engaged in laboratory testing Skills :
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage one time.
• Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Expert knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (international quality standard for human clinical trials) and local regulations.
• Expert knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
• Expert ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results. Education / Experience :
