We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary :
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking Medical Assistants and / or medically trained candidates to join our Family Medicine team as a Medical Assistant! This is a benefits-eligible position, working 30 hours per week. You must be able to work full days on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
BMC's Family Medicine department provides comprehensive, preventative care to patients of all ages-from pediatrics to geriatrics-and includes services such as eye exams and women's health (provider-specific; may vary based on provider's focus). The clinic maintains a steady, manageable pace, thanks to longer appointment times that support meaningful patient interactions.
This role offers a balanced mix of clinical and administrative work, giving team members valuable experience in both direct patient care and operational tasks. Please note that providers may rotate between clinic locations, so reliable transportation may be required.

Job Duties :
Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and / or verifying patient information, patient check in / out, coordinate and facilitate accurate patient appointmentObtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinationsMaintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and / or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policiesPreparing examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and room is adequately stockedDocument all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record systemGood history-taking skills, strong, competent computer skills; accurate and complete documentation skills; good time management and organizational skills.Relate well and communicate with patients, providers, and staff.Able to demonstrate self-direction in establishing priorities and working with little supervision.Education Requirements (one of the following options) :
Completion of Medical Assistant education.Certification is not required but preferred.Other completed medical training and proof of active certification with 1+ years of recent field experience is an acceptable substitution. (Examples include but are not limited to : EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials.College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degree is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials.College transcripts must reflect completed health science course work. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, preferredThe starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience :
$18.91 - $25.21 / hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36)This position will be posted for a minimum of three (3) days or until filled.
