Position Summary : Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of food manufacturing equipment and systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components across production, packaging, and conveyor systems. The role ensures minimal downtime, supports food safety compliance, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain systems including motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and sensors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Conduct changeovers and rebuild mechanical assemblies (e.g., capper chucks, bagger clips).
• Operate and maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders.
• Support building maintenance and facility repairs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMPs, and food safety standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance with operational goals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00 / hr.
