Senior Tax Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements and play a key role in shaping our firm’s tax practice. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in client advisory, leadership, and team development. The Senior Tax Manager will work closely with partners and clients across a variety of industries, providing advanced tax planning, compliance, and consulting services while mentoring emerging leaders within the firm.
Responsibilities :
Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and nonprofits.
Lead strategic tax planning and consulting initiatives, providing proactive guidance to help clients achieve business and financial objectives.
Manage multiple client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering technical growth and professional excellence.
Research and interpret evolving tax laws, identifying implications and opportunities for clients and the firm.
Collaborate with firm leadership to refine processes, enhance client service, and support business development efforts.
Participate in strategic firm initiatives, including workflow optimization and technology adoption.
Qualifications :
Active CPA license required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with at least 3 years in a management or senior leadership role.
Deep technical expertise in complex tax structures, compliance, and planning strategies.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with proven success managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency with tax and research software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar platforms).
Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
