The role
We’re seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team, supporting a broad range of responsibilities across our US operations. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multiple departments within our US office while also playing a key part in strengthening the support provided by our centralized UK services. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a cross‑functional, international environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact on business performance. You’ll be based in our beautiful Boston, MA office located in the North End, and the role expects a minimum of 4 days per week in the office.
Finance Analysis
- Support month end reporting, assisting the Senior Analyst with relevant data covering month end booking & departure margin analysis
- Support monthly orderbook analysis by investigating margin movements and providing clear, data‑driven explanations
- Prepare monthly and quarterlyvariable compensation and bonuses for our sales teams
- Create and prepare ad hoc finance management reports & close control reports (sales performance, margin analysis, refund analysis)
- Populate charts and data needed for global management PowerPoint decks
Controllership responsibilities
Manage cash‑related transactions for the US office, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This includes cash allocation, check cashing and posting, as well as handling check disbursements in line with company policies and financial controls.Support finance processes related to full and partial trip cancellationsProvide a local contact point for collection of financial informationAssist with company audits and year‑end tax filing responsibilitiesServe as on‑ground liaison to US Sales and Service organization for Group Finance Shared Service function, being the first point of contact for ad‑hoc Finance questions.About you
You’re highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, and thrive when managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. You have a good knowledge of sales process and your proactive approach and attention to detail make you a reliable contributor to cross‑functional teams.
Additional experience required
Bachelors degree or higher with finance or analytical courseworkWorking knowledge of Excel (must be at minimum comfortable with pivot tables and LOOKUP functions)Demonstrated ability and aptitude to learn new skillsOrganized, detail oriented, strong attention to accuracy and completeness while managing multiple projectsAbility to maintain high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish work objectivesDesire to learn and grow in a finance organizationEnjoys a challenge and is comfortable with changeA flexible team player comfortable to take initiative and be solution focusedStrong written and oral communication skillsApproachable nature with a positive attitudeWhat you’ll get in return
