Position Overview
Providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and providing services for events such as meetings, banquets, weddings, concerts, etc.
- Reading and preparing banquet spaces to event specifications prepared by leadership
- Setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, dinner and drink buffets
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
- Collaborating with culinary team and other staff to ensure seamless event execution
- Consistently adhere to dress code
- Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
- Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications
Minimum age : 18+Preferred : Experience in events, banquets, or food and beverage operations.Preferred : Strong time management and prioritization skills and ability to work independently.Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communicationPhysical & Practical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 14 hours daily and ability to lift / move up to 50 poundsComplete the Annual Health and Medical Record , including height / weight guidelinesHousing : 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform : Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours : 45-55Desired Traits
