The Axel Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our client's team out of Atlanta. This firm provides a wide variety of services to their clients ranging from construction management, general building, design build, preconstruction services, and more!

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall project direction, completion and financial outcome for assigned projects while directing and mentoring on-site staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills.

Position Summary :

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all field operations on assigned project(s) to ensure safe, timely, and profitable completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, along with excellent communication and client service abilities.

Major Duties & Responsibilities :

Implement company safety policies and procedures.
Promote and maintain an Injury-Free Environment through personal actions and mentoring others.
Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of the field labor force.
Review and approve trade contractor pay applications and material invoices in coordination with the Project Manager.
Develop and maintain the site logistics plan with the Project Manager.
Manage the quality assurance / quality control (QA / QC) program .
Coordinate site testing and inspection reports.
Monitor project costs, including labor time and materials.
Manage self-perform features of work .
Oversee and update the CPM schedule and look-ahead schedules.
Develop, coordinate, and execute project-specific plans such as Safety, HazCom, SWPPP, and QA / QC.
Attend and lead portions (or all) of project meetings, including preconstruction, preinstallation, subcontractor, owner, and safety meetings in coordination with the Project Manager.
Create daily reports and track quantities.
Assist with the Preconstruction / Estimating phase of the project.
Mobilize the site and set up utilities.
Ensure necessary permits are secured and inspections are completed.
Review and verify RFIs and approve submittals for processing.
Conduct oneself in accordance with company guiding principles and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Provides effective mentorship and training to develop team members.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent related experience may be substituted on a one-to-one basis.

Experience : Minimum 15 years of industry experience .

Salary Range : $130,000 - $190,000
