Our Client, griculture Products company, is looking for an Engineering Technician for their Fargo, ND location.
Responsibilities :
- Performs instrumented tests using existing procedures to verify that system performance meets product specifications.
- Supports assigned product groups in product validation and verification process as associated with production requirements.
- Provides problem identification Andre solution, corrective action and tracking and reliability analysis.
- Provides input on test procedures to engineers and support personnel as required.
- Major Duties Designs, schedules and performs field and / or lab tests to validate new product designs.
- Analyzes test data of moderate complexity, draws conclusions and summarizes reports.
- Develops programs for data acquisition
- Collects and installs instrumentation for test.
- Compiles test reports that document procedures and communicates results and guidance to design group.
- Assists in procedure and process documentation for various aspects of testing requirements.
- Assists in developing changes to product design for new programs or continuous improvement projects.
- Gives work direction to test operators.
- Test electronic products to qualify for production readiness.
- Conduct manual test of electronic assemblies and document results.
- Set up lab equipment per engineering instruction.
- Perform maintenance on equipment and products.
Requirements :
Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.Knowledge of industry Product Verification & Validation processes and execution methodologies.Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division / unit.Knowledge / familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETDP) and / or Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP).1 - 3 years Product design experience.A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing.Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause.Ability to read and comprehend engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic componentsKnowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.Experience in one or more of the following areas :Electronics
