Overview

Manufacturing Engineer | Medical Device based in Illinois. Lead LEAN / Continuous Improvement initiatives at a fast-growing facility, driving efficiency improvements and cost savings, with involvement in future expansion.

Base pay range

$85,000.00 / yr - $110,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and documentation.
• Analyze process data and address non-conformances, low yields, or quality issues.
• Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime using root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods.
• Support and lead cross-functional projects; mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (CGMP).
• Implement new equipment and processes from specification to validation.
• Develop training materials and support technical onboarding for manufacturing personnel.
• Participate in audits and maintain plant-wide ISO quality standards.
