Summary :

The Material Handler works directly with team members to support production initiatives. They perform duties such as proper loading, unloading, and safely transporting materials throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operates specialty equipment which may include but is not limited to hand tools, pneumatic / battery operated tools, grinders, industrial hoists, and Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Produce quality work that meets company expectations.
• Reports defective material questionable conditions to department supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs other related duties as required by supervision.
• Satisfy the company attendance requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
