Product Owner, Supply Planning

Where You Will Work
This position can be remote out of our Independence, Ohio location. Preferably the East Coast, but must be able to work on the Eastern Time Zone.

What You Will Be Doing
Supply Chain Experience
Bring firsthand experience in inventory planning, capacity planning, supplier management, or production scheduling to shape product decisions.Translate the day-to-day activities of planners and operations teams into clear requirements that drive user value.Detail-oriented approach to your work, willing to roll up your sleeves and explore / validate dataWork directly with customers to understand their processes and pain points, validating solutions that truly improve their planning precision and efficiency.Partner with Product Management and Engineering to prioritize roadmap items based on business impact and customer outcomes.Product & Execution
Own and refine the product backlog - balancing long-term vision with short-term iteration.Write concise user stories and acceptance criteria grounded in real business use cases.A good instinct for must-have functionality vs. should-have vs. nice-to-have.Collaborate with UI / UX to define intuitive workflows that reduce friction for users.Listen intently, understand the why behind the asks, and drive for true problem understanding.Work with customers throughout the product lifecycle to validate assumptions and get feedback on mockups and the product before it is released.Support go-to-market readiness - helping internal teams understand, demo, and position new functionality.Monitor adoption and usage after launch, identifying where the product delivers measurable improvements in accuracy, time savings, or decision quality.Job responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization's values.What You Will Bring
2–5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Operations PlanningProduct management, ownership, or BA experience is a plusStrong understanding of planning concepts - forecasting, lead time, safety stock, BOMs, capacity, and replenishment logicStrong technical aptitude - you enjoy learning how systems work, you're familiar with exploring data and collaborating with developers to find elegant solutionsExcellent communication skills – you can explain complex ideas simply to business users and translate business logic for engineers.Curiosity, problem-solving, empathy for the end user, and a natural drive to make their workday smoother.Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make clear decisions in a fast-moving environment.What We Will Love About You
