We are hiring a Project Engineer to support two of the most high-profile heavy civil infrastructure projects currently underway in New York City. This is a unique opportunity to work on transformative, city-shaping projects valued at over $100 millionled by a nationally recognized contractor known for delivering complex, high-impact work.

What Youll Do

  • Support field operations and collaborate with Project Engineers, Superintendents, and subcontractors.
  • Supervise field work and subcontractor activities for quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with contract documents and building codes.
  • Perform material takeoffs and manage procurement schedules and deliveries.
  • Coordinate shop drawings, mock-ups, submittals, and subcontractor scopes.
  • Manage document control, subcontractor compliance, and change order processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of schedules, updates, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
  • Support monthly billings, cash flow forecasts, and project financials.
  • Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance; coordinate with QA / QC on non-compliance and corrective actions.
  • Lead project and financial closeouts in coordination with the Owner and subcontractors.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 510 years of experience supporting heavy civil infrastructure projects valued at $100M+.
  • Strong background in cost control, contract management, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Bridge construction experience is a strong plus.

    The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00 / yr.
