Job description

JoinourdynamicteamasaSheetmetalEstimator,whereyourexpertisewillbepivotalinshapinganddrivingourprojectstosuccess.You'llthriveinanenvironmentthatvaluesprecision,innovation,andcollaboration,providingcost-effectivesolutionsandaccurateestimatesforourdiverserangeofprojects.Ifyouaredetail-orientedandenjoyworkinginafast-pacedsetting,wewelcomeyoutocontributeyourskillstoourdedicatedteam.JobResponsibilities-Analyzeprojectspecifications,drawings,andblueprintstodeterminematerialandlaborrequirements.-Preparedetailedandaccuratecostestimatesforsheetmetalprojects.-Collaboratewithprojectmanagers,engineers,andclientstogatheressentialprojectdetailsandrequirements.-Developandmaintainrelationshipswithsuppliersandsubcontractorstoobtaincompetitivepricing.-Reviewandinterpretbiddocuments,contracts,andproposalstoensurecompliancewithprojectspecifications.-Conductsitevisitswhennecessarytoevaluateprojectscopeandverifyfieldconditions.-Prepareandsubmitbidproposals,ensuringaccuracyandtimeliness.-Trackandmanagemultipleestimatesandprojectdeadlinesconcurrently.-Updateandmaintainestimatingdatabasesandsoftwarewithcurrentmaterialandlaborcosts.-Participateinprojecthandoffmeetingstoensureasmoothtransitionfromestimatingtomanufacturingorinstallation.-Providetechnicalsupportandclarificationduringtheprojectexecutionphase.-Ensurecompliancewithindustrystandardsandregulationsinallestimatingpractices.-Generatereportsandsummariesformanagementreviewandstrategicplanning.JobRequirements-Minimumof3-5yearsofexperienceinsheetmetalestimatingorrelatedfield.-Proficiencyinreadingandinterpretingblueprints,drawings,andspecifications.-Strongknowledgeofsheetmetalfabricationprocesses,materials,andstandards.-FamiliaritywithestimatingsoftwaresuchasQuoteSoft,Autodesk,andSMEP.-Excellentmathematicalandanalyticalskills.-Abilitytopreparedetailedcostestimates,includinglabor,materials,andprojectduration.-ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeSuite,particularlyExcel.-Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.-Strongorganizationalandtimemanagementskills.-Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateam.-Highattentiontodetailandaccuracy.-Validdriverslicenseforsitevisitsandcustomermeetings(ifapplicable).-Associate'sdegreeinconstructionmanagement,engineering,orrelatedfieldpreferred.PI17d5f90be037-29952-38677598 #FalseRequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther
