About the Role :

The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive mental health services to individuals in the Virginia area. This position is responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support clients' mental health and well-being. The QMHP collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and effective care. Additionally, the role involves monitoring client progress, documenting clinical activities accurately, and adjusting treatment approaches as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Ultimately, the QMHP contributes to improving the quality of life for clients by promoting recovery, resilience, and community integration.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field.
• Certification or licensure as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as required by Virginia state regulations.
• At least one year of experience providing mental health services in a clinical or community setting.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
