JOB DESCRIPTION :
Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for monitoring and recording vital signs accurately and reporting any significant changes promptly.
Strong communication skills are a must, as you will be interacting with patients, families, and colleagues on a daily basis.
With a proactive and compassionate approach to care, you will excel in delivering exceptional healthcare services to those in need.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are :
Administer and oversee medication to patients under doctor's supervision if applicable.
Assist aides and nurses with lifting moving and transferring patients as needed. Work with nursing team to maintain safe and clean work environments.
Oversee and Perform routine patient ADL's. Oversee and Assist with service of meals to patients in accordance with dietary instructions.
Monitor the flow of oxygen and intravenous solutions for consistency with Physician orders. Oversee, Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
Change dressings as directed by the attending Physician. Report any unusual situations regarding patients to the DON Practice Infection Control.
Oversee and Assist in all emergency situations as instructed. Provide in-services for staff when necessary. Complete as applicable by state requirements.
Perform admissions and discharges working closely with with facility management.
Perform other related duties as assigned by facility or agency.
Education / Training
Degree : Associate degree, Bachelor's Degree, State Exam RN Nurse Certification
Experience
Prior nursing experience required. Supervisor and management experience required for supervising roles.
Certifications / Licenses
State Licensed Registered Nurse
Appropriate Credentials, Immunizations
