Software Developer

Title : Software Developer III Location : Charlotte, NC (3-days onsite, 2-days remote Hybrid schedule) Note : This is a W2 contract role – 1099, C2C, and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered The Software Developer will assist higher level developers responsible for coding, testing, supporting, and debugging new or enhanced software, including responding to business client issues. Additionally, they will; Work with higher level developers to learn about design and variety of problems that can exist with current software applications and technologies Analyze issues and use judgment to make decisions Provide constructive feedback to the team, suggesting actions to improve individual and team performance Outline potential cost / savings outcomes of technology use, tailoring information to appeal to the level and interest of others To the extent that it is reasonable, go the extra mile to make sure that each individuals needs are met Identify opportunities or problems, and act quickly and decisively to respond to the situation Takes initiative to work on challenging or stretch work assignments Position Qualifications : Strong technical expertise with Python, React, AWS, Java, and SSIS / Oracle PL / SQL Knowledge of coding, testing, supporting, and debugging software Ability to gather and convey information to business clients, including an understanding of how IT groups operate and how their role meets customer needs and creates value Ability to work independently to define, manage, and complete activities, including interacting directly with business clients for purposes of gathering and conveying information Fast learner with a curious mind and a sense of urgency Strong ability to multitask and work independently, taking initiative but also able to work well collaboratively Banking / finance industry experience preferred A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field Note : This is a W2 contract role – 1099, C2C, and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered
