    • Here's the details on what we are looking for in this position :

  • We’re seeking a Transmission Project Manager to lead high-voltage electrical transmission projects from development through construction and closeout.
  • In this role, you’ll manage schedules, budgets, permitting, procurement, and contractor coordination, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • You’ll serve as the central point of contact for progress, risk, and stakeholder communication, working closely with engineering teams, vendors, and clients to drive successful execution.

    • Essential Responsibilities :

  • Oversee transmission projects from planning and permitting through construction and closeout.
  • Manage project schedules in coordination with the scheduler using Primavera P6, while overseeing permitting (environmental & real estate), detailed cost estimating, engineering design, procurement of labor and materials, and contractor / vendor management to meet client deadlines.
  • Lead recurring design and construction progress meetings to keep teams aligned and on track.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Create and manage bid packages, evaluate contractor bids, and recommend selections to clients.
  • Build strong relationships with project and construction teams through regular communication and site visits.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors to meet client deadlines.
  • Develop execution plans and supporting documentation for project authorization and funding.
  • Provide regular updates to the PM Supervisor and client on schedule, cost, risks, and issues.
  • Travel within the client’s service territory as needed.
  • Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ PM experience managing transmission or distribution projects or (5) years construction management experience managing transmission or distribution projects.
  • Experience must include the construction phase of project execution.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with industry, government, and public stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • PMP certification preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
