This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Mid-Level Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our Power & Energy team in Houston, TX . The following locations will be considered : Seattle, WA, Boise, ID and Hailey, ID . The candidate will be involved in projects with our Power Generation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

• Development of instrumentation and control design documents for power generation projects
• Lead and support Instrumentation & Controls design efforts on multi-discipline projects
• Instrumentation design and selection
• Instrumentation installation design
• Control System wiring design
• Control System logic design
• Control system hardware design and configuration
• Coordination with colleagues in other engineering disciplines on multi-discipline projects
• Coordination with clients, equipment vendors, and contractors on projects
• Field commissioning support on project start-up efforts
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with little oversight
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations) : $73,100 - $125,400

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicants sex or other status protected by local, state, and / or federal law.
