Medical Assistant
Position : Medical Assistant
Location : New York, NY (Various Sites)
Schedule : M-F 8am - 6pm Rotating weekends
Pay Rate : $20
Requirements :
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Competition of Medical Assistant training program
- AHA BLS certification.
- 2 years of paid MA experience
- Proof of full vaccination required
- Staff is required for EVERY OTHER WEEKEND coverage in their schedule.
Responsibilities :
- Obtaining patient history, Recording vital signs, height, and weight in EPIC
- Preparing the patient for physician, administering
- Obtaining and recording diagnostic laboratory test results.
- Performs electrocardiograms and phlebotomy
- Assists physicians and nurses with special procedures and examinations
- Performs a variety of other clerical functions such as filing of paper medical records, processing insurance forms, preparing financial records, photocopying, and answering phones
