Position Summary

  • AT&T’s core mission is driven by purpose: to provide connectivity to all, empowering all communities with digital access. This purpose and mission are infused in all marketing activities throughout AT&T’s Marketing & Growth Organization, ensuring that all external messaging is infused with the company’s dedication to advancing the mission of connectivity.
  • This role will support the brand marketing team to drive brand love and consideration amongst demand audiences within sports and special experiences tactics and placements.
  • The Brand Marketing Manager will assist in the development and execution of brand campaigns and initiatives that enhance brand awareness, consumer engagement, and emotional connection through consistent messaging across all channels.
  • The role will require cross-functional partnership with the Brand Strategy, Insights, Media & Sponsorships and Creative, Content & Advertising teams to develop thoughtful brand partnerships, tentpole events, and campaigns to highlight AT&T Purpose.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in uncovering areas of opportunity and leveraging customer insights to help develop marketing briefs to action brand-led strategies, ensuring AT&T Purpose is aligned with customer needs and behaviors.
  • Support the development of centralized marketing playbooks that can be leveraged by MGO to ensure consistency with messaging across the organization.
  • Developing strong relationships with various internal and external teams such as Media and Sponsorships, Creative Content & Advertising, Social etc. to ensure the brand strategy is developed, shared and executed to enable life inspiring and impactful marketing programs and campaigns that elevate AT&T’s approach to Purpose and propel long term growth.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across AT&T and external bodies to measure brand health and awareness, specifically the impact of AT&T’s Purpose efforts to drive ongoing improvements to programs.

Qualifications

  • Background in brand building and holistic marketing across multiple brands.
  • Experience managing multi-faceted go-to-market campaign processes requiring strong organizational skills, detail-focused strategic oversight, rigorous risk mitigation, and executive-level reporting.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with an ability to create structure and process, building something from nothing.
  • Highly motivated and strong self-starter
  • Strong cross collaboration skills with experience partnering with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Leadership skills to shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
  • Strong written communicator: everyone looks forward to your emails
  • Proficient presenter: you’re great in the room
  • Superb efficiency and quality under tight deadlines – set and meet tight deliverables for multiple simultaneous projects while assuring accuracy and consistency in deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or advanced degree desired. 5+ years of related experience
