Physicist Full Time Days Position Summary

Quality assurance of the radiation producing apparatus in the Department.  Quality assurance of the treatment records of the patients in the Department  Verification and / or validation of the treatment plans  Quality assurance of the brachytherapy program  Participation in the educational programs within the Department  Participation in the research programs within the Department

Responsibilities

Education

Required :   Masters Degree in medical physics, physics, or a closely allied field.

Experience

Required : The physicist will have completed a program which included clinical responsibilities in radiation oncology physics.

Certification

Required :   If the physicist is not certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent, the physicist will begin the certification process as soon as possible
