Schedule : 4 / 10 (M-Th) or 3 / 12s (M-Wed)and No Weekend Shifts!

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology department!

About the role : Deepen your understanding of neurological anatomy and function while supporting diagnostic and surgical proceduresPerform high-quality anesthetic induction, monitoring, and maintenance for surgeries and advanced imagingAccurately calculate and administer medications and fluid therapy for hospitalized patientsAssist with specialized surgeries, advanced imaging, and neurologic consultationsPerform venipuncture, IV and urinary catheter placement, and other essential technical proceduresConduct and document thorough patient assessments, noting physical and behavioral changesCommunicate patient updates clearly and collaborate closely with the Neurologist and broader medical teamSupport client education by helping pet parents understand their pet’s care and treatmentUse practice management software to accurately maintain medical records and patient dataPrepare or carry out procedures that do not require direct veterinarian assistanceCompensation : $30 -$45 hourly$5.50 / hr differential for any hours worked between 6pm-6amWork Schedule : Full-Time4 / 10 or 3 / 12 schedule No Weekends!Basic Required Qualifications : Current and valid RVT license in the state of California required2+ years in a specialty setting in the veterinary industryNeurology experience preferredStrong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriateConsistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations  Benefits : Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, vacation and sick time, and uniformsHighly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set.Competitive Vet Assistant and RVT CE allowance annuallyVetBloom access : Race approved continuing education, training, and curriculum libraryLicense application and renewal reimbursement for RVT’sOpportunities for growth and advancement Ethos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
