Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Salesforce Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions across the enterprise. This role provides technical leadership and architectural direction for multi-cloud environments, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and regulatory requirements. Experience with cannabis industry systems and grant management platforms is required.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, integration strategies, data security, and multi-cloud implementation, along with a proven ability to design compliant and efficient solutions tailored to regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end architecture of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Force.com applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders-particularly in cannabis regulatory environments and grant funding ecosystems-to define requirements and architect compliant, scalable solutions.
- Design architecture blueprints, data models, and integration frameworks to support business objectives and regulatory mandates.
- Define and implement integration strategies using REST / SOAP APIs, Middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft), Platform Events, and Streaming APIs.
- Establish and enforce governance around data security, architecture standards, performance optimization, and DevOps pipelines.
- Guide and mentor development teams on best practices for Apex, Lightning Web Components, and secure coding standards.
- Evaluate AppExchange solutions and third-party tools to enhance Salesforce capabilities for grant tracking and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee CI / CD strategy, sandbox architecture, and release management in compliance with enterprise IT policies.
- Ensure architectural alignment with frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and state-specific cannabis compliance regulations.
- Support project and program management teams with architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, and solution feasibility analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
7+ years of Salesforce experience with 2+ years in a Salesforce Architect role.Proven experience with cannabis regulatory systems such as licensing, compliance reporting, seed-to-sale tracking, or patient management.Demonstrated expertise with grant management systems, including workflows, compliance tracking, audit trails, and reporting.In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, multi-org strategy, data modeling, sharing & visibility models, and governor limits.Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, JavaScript, and Salesforce APIs.Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture including role hierarchies, field-level access, and OAuth / SAML authentication.Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations, data migrations, and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Copado, SFDX).Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills to work across business and IT teams.Preferred Certifications :

Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds : Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud.Background in global Salesforce implementations or multi-org consolidation.Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.Experience working in regulated public sector, healthcare, or nonprofit funding environments.
