About The Position
We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in California beginning Nov 17, 2025. This is a 260-day contract working day shifts, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient setting. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care to both new and established patients as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities and Duties
Function as an independent provider within a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient settingManage comprehensive patient care, including new consultations and follow-up appointmentsCounsel and educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and symptom managementMaintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in electronic medical recordsDemonstrate advanced clinical judgment and strong problem-solving skillsCommunicate effectively and maintain professionalism at all timesAdditional Information
At least one year of Hematology / Oncology experience preferred; strong candidates with a passion for the field will be consideredGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programMust hold a valid and unrestricted California PA licenseCurrent National Board Certification (e.g., PA-C)Current BLS certification requiredFurnishing license requiredDEA license must be obtained within 3 months of startingBenefits
