Primary Responsibilities

• Assure multi-site implementation of company safety policies and procedures with respect to employee health and safety, occupational safety and health regulatory compliance, and environmental compliance.
• Provide accurate technical guidance on health and safety issues.
• Conduct routine internal safety audits.
• Conduct accident investigations with results focusing on root causes and corrective actions.
• Ensure safe procedures are developed and implemented for new equipment and newer technologies such as robotics, lasers, radiation, and other hazardous processes.
• Conduct or coordinate effective dissemination of safety initiatives through direct training including required compliance training, technical training, and new employee orientation / readiness training.
• Serve as lead for safety improvements and Safety Team for each site.
