A fast-growing, AI startup is building a cloud-based AI software engineer — a system that helps with every part of the developer workflow, not just coding. From data analysis and code review to incident response and performance optimization, the platform is designed to make engineering teams dramatically more effective.

With $25M in recent funding and a team of fewer than 10 engineers, the company is looking for a Founding Frontend Engineer to own the entire frontend experience. You’ll be working on a complex, highly interactive product that integrates real‑time systems and elegant user experiences.

You’ll lead the architecture and implementation of the frontend stack using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS — transforming detailed Figma designs into reliable, production‑quality interfaces. The right candidate will thrive in building polished, performant systems and is passionate about the future of AI‑assisted software development.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the frontend architecture and implementation for a sophisticated AI‑driven product.
• Build scalable, performant, and maintainable components using React / Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless, real‑time experiences.
• Continuously improve system performance and reliability across web applications.
• Contribute to the company’s engineering culture, helping define frontend best practices and standards.
