Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager to join our Observability and Operations Data Platform group.

- Defining and owning the team's AI strategy, ensuring the integration of AI across observability and operational workflows

- Working in an Agile, collaborative environment with forward-thinking developers and quality engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality software
- Partnering with Product, SRE, and AI / ML teams to align roadmaps and deliver innovative solutions
- Mentoring and developing engineers and managers, with a strong focus on AI adoption, best practices, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have :
10+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; 8+ years with a master's degree; or equivalent experience with technologies in Observability, Data Lake, and Big Data domains6+ years of team management experience, including proficiency in providing feedback and driving strategies, policies, and plans2+ years of proven experience leading AI-driven teams and shaping AI adoption strategiesExperience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solvingthis may include AI-powered tools, workflow automation, analyzing AI-driven insights, or evaluating AI's impact on the business or industryHands-on experience with AI productivity tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency and productivityStrong technical skills in streaming engines and multiple database types (time-series, key-value, and RDBMS); Java expertise required, Python experience a plusProficiency in writing efficient, object-oriented, modular, and high-quality software, with knowledge of unit testing, profiling, and performance tuningExperience in the design and implementation of large, scalable environments; familiarity with Kubernetes-based applications is a plusAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with dynamic or ambiguous requirements, while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality outcomesOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalGCS-23
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $187,600 - $328,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable / incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
