Associate Professor / Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology at CUMC (Director of Hematopathology)

The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University is seeking a Director of Hematopathology at the Associate Professor or Professor level. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and certification or eligibility in Hematopathology are requirements for this position. Teaching and communication skills are essential. Applicants must hold an MD, DO, or MD / PhD degree and be able to obtain a NYS medical license.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert diagnostic services in hematopathology.
• Oversee and manage hematopathology laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead and mentor faculty, trainees while contributing to education through teaching of residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and multidisciplinary initiatives.
