Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Mental Health / Substance Use Disorder Counselor will review of main responsibilities. The Mental Health / Substance Use Disorder Counselor will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health's Rochester Detox Program. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday.

Pay Rate : $19.23- $24.89 per hour.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500!

Responsibilities

Maintain a case load of patients seeking treatment from the effects of substance use and / or mental health disorders.

• Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping.
• Participate in program, administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
• Relate effectively with staff, clients, and community while upholding confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

Or a Bachelor's Degree in a human service field with demonstrated steady progress towards QHP status (CASAC-T or enrolled in a MSW or Mental Health Counseling Masters or equivalent licensure-oriented program).
