Forklift Operator

Position Overview : To build custom orders to fulfill order requests. Position also responsible for the transport of merchandise from trailers to storage locations and from storage areas to trailers for shipping.

Essential Functions :

• Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise / Lower dock plate
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager

This position is located in Charlotte, NC $21.14 Per Hour Monday-Friday : 4 : 30 pm - 1 : 00 am Work Shift 8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM Shaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups.
